VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for New Haven’s Summer Meals Blitz happening THIS Saturday, June 16th 9:00AM-1:00PM!

The Blitz is an energizing day that includes distributing information and raising awareness of Summer Meals for New Haven residents. Blitz Events are an excellent way to connect with your community AND ensure that children don’t experience hunger while school is out of session.

An interactive cooking and food education series curated by Nadine Nelson, Global Local Gourmet, in collaboration with the New Haven Food Policy Council.
Be sure to come through to this month’s potluck, on Tuesday, May 29 at 5:30 pm. We will be discussing the reading “How Food Can Be a Platform for Activism” over fresh spring rolls!
All are welcome! Bring a dish to share and an appetite for change.
